The Professional plan is the sweet spot for most small business websites. The Starter plan suits a simple portfolio or personal site, but its 1 GB storage and single-website limit will feel tight quickly for a WordPress site with images.

What is BDIX, in plain words? BDIX (Bangladesh Internet Exchange) is where Bangladeshi internet providers connect to each other. When your website is on a BDIX server in Dhaka, a visitor on a Bangladeshi connection reaches it without their traffic leaving the country. That shorter path means pages start loading sooner.

What we appreciated is how honestly TetraHost explains this. Some Bangladeshi hosts advertise BDIX as “200 times faster,” which isn’t how it works. TetraHost’s own page says the difference is real but more modest, and publishes its measurements from Dhaka: its Bangladesh servers respond several times sooner than Singapore, and far sooner than the USA or Germany. It also says plainly that BDIX won’t help if your visitors are outside Bangladesh, which is exactly the advice a good host should give.

Reliability and reputation: what the evidence shows

We didn’t run our own long-term tests, so we looked at evidence anyone can check.

A public uptime report. Almost every host promises “99.9% uptime.” TetraHost goes further and publishes a live uptime report through HetrixTools, an independent monitoring service. You can open it any time and see how its servers are actually performing. Very few Bangladeshi hosts do this.

Domain registration

TetraHost is a full domain and hosting provider, so you can register a domain and manage it in the same account as your hosting.

How this works: like most hosting companies in Bangladesh (and many large ones worldwide), TetraHost registers international domains through an upstream ICANN-accredited registrar. ICANN is the global body that oversees domain names, and accredited registrars connect directly to the domain registries. TetraHost handles everything on your side of that process: searching and ordering, payment in Taka, DNS settings, renewals, transfers and support.
